We have tried to make our website as accessible as possible by:
The majority of our downloadable documents are in Portable Document Format (PDF) format. PDF is a suitable format for documents on a website. A PDF file can contain large amounts of content or images in a more user-friendly way than a webpage.
To open PDF files, you need a viewer called Adobe Reader. This small program is free to download from the Adobe website and is available for any PC or Mac user. If you use screen reading software or other assistive technology, the Access Adobe site offers support and tools to help you access PDF documents.
Evaluation of the site design We tested our website using a variety of users including those who are new to the Internet and people with disabilities.
