Adults with diabetes are being encouraged to have their say on the local healthcare and support services available to them in the city. NHS Brighton and Hove has launched a survey to capture the experiences of over 9000 local adults who are living with the condition. The feedback will help shape how future diabetes services are designed and delivered.
NHS Brighton and Hove’s Commissioner for Long Term Conditions, Lisa Douglas said
“Obtaining information from as many people as possible is the only way we can get a complete and accurate picture of diabetes care in Brighton and Hove, and how satisfied people are with their care. The information that patients provide will ensure that their experiences help to influence the future provision of diabetes services in city, and will be used to develop care pathways and to target resources to where they are most needed”
The survey is open to anyone in Brighton and Hove who has diabetes and is aged 17 and over. Please visit http://tiny.cc/bhdiabetes to share your views. The closing date for responses is 30 September 2010.
