About BH Link

BH Link is a comprehensive program designed to serve Rhode Islanders 18+ who are experiencing behavioral health crises. We provide immediate access to behavioral healthcare in a community-based, 24/7 facility, where clinicians connect people to immediate, stabilizing emergency behavioral health services, and long-term care and recovery supports. Our statewide, 24/7 call center also works to connect people and their loved ones to appropriate resources.

Our Partners

BH Link is a partnership between the Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals (BHDDH); Horizon Healthcare Partners; and Community Care Alliance.

BHDDH aims to promote the health, safety, and well-being of Rhode Islanders by developing policies and programs that address the issues of mental illness, addiction, recovery, and community support.

Horizon Healthcare Partners’ goal is to ensure equitable access and affordable services to those recovering from a serious mental illness, and divert higher-risk clients to community-based mental health/substance use alternatives.

Community care alliance

Community Care Alliance strives to empower people challenged by mental illness and addictions, by providing counseling, treatment, and support services.
